The Moshoeshoe Walk (Menkhoaneng to Thaba-Bosiu), is an annual event that occurs in Lesotho, this historical walk has been successfully organized since 2007. It has attracted both local and international people.
The primary objective of the walk is to re-kindle the spirit of unity amongst Basotho as it is embodied in the legacy left by its founder by Moshoeshoe I. The walk is organized in such a way that it has both the elements of adventure and education. During the walk, there are speeches given on the arrival of historical places passed by Moshoeshoe I. Again to carry on to pass the history of the Basotho nation to generations to come, as well as other cultures to learn more about the Basotho history.

Bus will pick up participants at 13h00 at Moshoeshoe Statue Park and drop them off in Mate.

Leave Menkhoaneng at 07h00 to head towards Ha Ramapepe
Stop in Makhoaneng for lunch, prepared by village locals
Continue to Ha Ramapepe and camp at Outward Bound

Leave Makhoaneng at 04h00 to hike to Ha `Makhoroana in Malimong.
Lunch and supper in Ha `Makhoroana, prepared by village locals.
Camping overnight in Malimong.

Hike to Sefikeng.
Lunch in Sefikeng, prepared by locals.
Hike from Sefikeng to Thaba-Bosiu (final destination)
