The National University of Lesotho (NUL) will be holding the 2nd Annual Science, Technology and Innovation Expo and Gala 2016 on the 31st March, 2016. The expo will begin at 09:00hrs and will end at 19:00hrs at the Pioneer Mall foyer. It is open to all members of the public and attendance is free. It is meant to showcase more than 160 innovative science and technology projects and products by the NUL staff and students. If supported, these projects have a potential to create jobs and boost Lesotho’s economy.
Attendees to the expo will have a rare chance to see Pius the XII, Lesotho’s most famous chicken, tagged the pride of Lesotho. At 17:00hrs the Gala Dinner will resume till late at the Avani Maseru. The Dinner, which is strictly formal and with strict entrance, will involve stakeholders’ dialogue on issues of Science, Technology and innovation as potential engine for job creation in Lesotho. Later that evening on the program enters the launch of NUL Innovation Hub and NUL Innovation Fund.
